Only five days to go until our EIS solar share offer ends. This Thursday from 11am to 3pm the team will be heading to Bristol waterfront to urge people to invest by 23 November to benefit from EIS tax relief and pre-register for our Bond Offer.Where: Bristol 2015 LabSpace, Bristol (near the Watershed)
When: 19th November 2015, 11am to 3pm
Over 300,000 raised so far…
Our solar projects are powered by our community. Together we’ve raised £300,000 so far to help put our ambitious plans into action. That’s over 40% of our Phase 1 target.
Three reasons to invest
The benefits of an investment in community energy are three-fold. Our investors receive a return on their investment while the community gets subsidised green energy. Thirdly, surplus income from the projects will go into a community benefit fund.
If all the exciting projects below go ahead and run as projected, £4 million would be paid into that fund over the 25-year project period.
Pre-register for our Bond Offer
Our #OwnIt Bond offer, for £2.67 million, is a fantastic way to invest in community energy if you’re looking for a shorter-term investment than our share offer. It’s projected to yield 6% per annum, with the principal and rolled-up interest repaid to bondholders at the end of three years. The minimum investment is £500.
Find out how it works in our animation.
Our #OwnIt Popup
Come along to meet the team, hear how your money can do good and pre-register for our new Bond Offer. As it’s the Festival of the Future City, we’ll be asking you to share your ideas for the future city. What are your concerns for energy security? How can we work together to #OwnIt?
And we’ve heard that there’s a polar bear roaming Bristol sharing how community energy could save its home and our environment. Last seen at the Bristol 2015 Lab Space, so you may be lucky and spot him…
