Oliver Clay

Oliver joined BEC with a wealth of experience from the private, public and community sectors. Before joining BEC, he worked as a Senior Consultant specialising in net zero cities, decarbonisation strategies, and project managing a variety of programmes, including EV installations and community-led retrofitting.

His focus is empowering communities through self-organisation and facilitating exciting projects that simultaneously cut bills, build resilience and energy independence, whilst reducing carbon emissions and ensuring profits entrench social benefits to the communities they come from. He has been involved in numerous community-led projects across Bristol and is a firm believer in the power of people and our communities to tackle the climate emergency.
