We’re on the lookout for relationship builders – can you help?

Spring is in the air and our Project Developer Anna Sherratt is looking for her perfect match – for our next rooftop solar project.

“At BEC, we’re particularly proud of our solar array on Bristol Beacon, the iconic city centre music venue. We loved that it was part of a wider project to regenerate the building, including a new roof and entrance hall – and that now our community-powered panels are helping power sustainability in the music industry, for which Bristol Beacon is taking centre stage.

The benefits of working as part of a bigger picture is that the solar can be integrated into the building or project design from the outset. There are also costs to be saved when it comes to scaffolding, electrics and even roof-tiles. It’s so much easier to do all the work at once.

Many building owners may not think of a community-owned solar array when they plan their building refurbishment, but it’s fairly simple to do – if you know who to ask. This is why we are looking for people who can spread the news about BEC to their clients, particularly those who want to reduce energy bills without straining their budget.

If you work on the early stages of building projects, like a planning consultant, quantity surveyor or M&E (Mechanical and Engineering) Consultant, you could be just the person we need.

So if this sounds like you, or you can recommend someone like this, please get in touch with me and the team at info@bristolenergy.coop. We’re looking forward to hearing from you.”
