Let the sun shine in!
To celebrate our love for the sun (and all the amazing solar power it gives us) this Valentine’s, we’re choreographing and filming a flashmob style sun dance in Millennium Square on 13 February.
This fun half-term activity will be a chance for us to get together to show how much we care about the world around us and raise awareness about investing in solar power to protect our planet for generations to come.
13 February from 9.30 to 11.30am
Millennium Square, Bristol
We’d like to get an idea of numbers. Show the love and sign up here.
Here’s more information about the day:
What do I need to wear?
Please dress in sunny colours – yellows, oranges and reds.
What will I be asked to do?
We will choreograph a sequence, which we will film from above. The sequence will involve coming together to form a sun with some simple movements like walking, running, jumping and turning. (And any dance moves you’ve like to bust out!)
Am I too old or too young?
No one is too old or too young! For primary school children, please come along with your parent or guardian.
Where will the film be shown?
The film will be shown on our website, YouTube and social media channels.
Please Note:
1. We ask that all parents/guardians remain present during the event (and hopefully join in!)
2. You will be asked to sign a film release when you arrive.
3. We plan to go ahead rain or shine, but please go to www.bristolenergy.coop/blog for updates.
